Actress Jennifer Carsillo began her training in San Francisco at the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre’s Young Conservatory. She continued with dance and language study at the Oberlin Conservatory and Indiana University, from which she holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, respectively, in Violin Performance.
Ms. Carsillo has appeared in musical theater, independent film, stage productions, commercials, and on a variety of television programs aired on PBS, CBS, and NBC. A frequent narrator with symphony orchestras 
around the country, Jennifer Carsillo has performed well-loved classics such as Babar the Elephant, The Tortoise and the Hare, and The Night Before Christmas, as well as contemporary works including Russell Peck’s The Thrill of the Orchestra and Bradford Ross’ A Family for Baby Grand (in which she creates the voices for twelve different characters). Jennifer Carsillo has performed Baby Grand over a dozen times, and was thrilled to record the work for the Rochester (NY) Philharmonic. The commercial CD, also featuring the great American actor John Lithgow, was released in May 2011, with proceeds benefiting the Philharmonic’s education and outreach programs. This season, Jennifer Carsillo will return to New York to perform with the Rochester Philharmonic as narrator and vocal soloist for Stephen McNeff’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit and also as narrator for Glen Roven’s The Runaway Bunny.
Also a writer, Jennifer Carsillo authored an original narration for Prokofiev’s Lieutenant Kijé Suite that has been performed by orchestras in New York and Florida.
